This keycap set is built around a low profile shape, sitting closer to the switch plate than standard height caps. The shorter profile can change the feel of a board by reducing finger travel and giving the keys a flatter, more uniform look across the rows.
The caps are made from PBT, a denser plastic that tends to resist the glossy wear that shows up on softer materials over time. Shine through legends allow backlighting to pass through the characters, keeping them readable in dim rooms while the surrounding cap stays opaque.
Because the set is low profile, it pairs best with boards and switches that already sit low or use a flatter case design. The combination of PBT construction and shine through lettering makes it a practical choice for anyone who types in low light and prefers a slimmer key height.
